This is an interesting concept. 

How well do the hospitals who accept HUGE donations from infant formula
companies (and I'm thinking Abbott and others, located in Columbus Ohio)
fare, as far as breastfeeding rates? Wings named for said companies, "free"
donations of products/lactation services? From my perspective, and from what
I've heard from LLL Leaders in the area, the breastfeeding rates and
information are terrible.

And, yes, they do bring astounding amounts of money to "improve children's
health," but how much of this money is incurred at the cost of many, many
more babies health and lives? Is it ok to donate money gained at the cost of
another child's life? How much can be given to research diabetes and
obesity, when it can be directly related back to artificial feeding in the
first year?

If nothing else, Dr. Jay has opened a huge can of worms, and now it has to
be dealt with. Many times, the only way to truly open eyes is to incorporate
a big shock.
