I lived there AGES ago, we had 4 La Leche League Leaders running 5 groups!
Each one attended two meetings, and they were VERY big. In fact, we ran, as
an experiment, two parallell group meetings, one in the AM and one in the PM
that were ONLY for toddlers! ALL were well attended. It's a college town,
as well as Mead Johnson's home town. Later on, I started a La Leche League
Group in Newburgh, which is a suburb to the East of Evansville - we ran a
Garage Sale in my home with donations from all the other groups to get the
funds to start our library.

There were some great supportive MDs at the time - but this was BEFORE 1985,
so there wasn't an LC Profession then!
