We give the mothers roomy canvas bags with our hospital logo  on them. They 
really like them.
 
In the bag we place a folder with breastfeeding information, local support  
groups info, and our staff-written booklet about baby care at home.  
 
The staff decided they were tired of going though the boxes of items that  
used to be shipped to the hospital & selecting only those  compatible with Baby 
Friendly standards.  We only gave out diapers samples  and some creams, etc., 
(ditched the magazines and coupons they came with)  but now don't even receive 
the freebie boxes at all.  
 
So the only company we are promoting is our own community not-for-profit  
hospital now.
