How long is the longest that an older baby can go without stooling before we
should become concerned? I know of an exclusively breastfeed 4 month old who
hasn't stooled in 15 days. I know many who have gone every 7-10 days between
stools and "Breastfeeding and Human Lactation" says an occasional older baby
may go 3-4 weeks. This baby appears healthy and is happy. Gained 10 oz in
past 15 days and has lots of wets. Parents are concerned and Ped is beginning
to be concerned.
