Thanks for all of the list and private responses for the mom with
endometriosis.  The hcp WAS referring to using an OC with estrogen (mom
said it was Nordette and that the dr told her that it would completely dry
up her milk).

Jay, it is very relevent to this mom whether bf will help with her
endometriosis--she has had two previous surgeries and does not wish to
become symptomatic again.  Her hcp is threatening her with horrible visions
of masses growing in her uterus, if she continues to bf.  I am trying to
gather facts that will help her feel confident that she is not "causing
harm" by continuing to bf.

I assumed that lactational amenorrhea would be helpful for this condition,
but really have not had any clinical experience with bf/endometriosis.
