I can understand the reason for no sucking for a while anyway...they usually
tell you when you have a tooth extracted, not to use straws because it might
loosen the clot that forms. So I would think the same would apply to tonsils.
But for 2 weeks??? I think that is a bit much....maybe a couple days. Maybe,
be at the breast for comfort, without vigorous sucking for the first few
days...
