Sharon,
I'm not the expert here, but something flagged with me. What does
theophylline do for apnea and reflux? I'm ignorant. My oldest child was
put on theophylline prophylactically for asthma, and it *caused* him to
"spit up", or regurgitate, until we stopped it. He was three or four at
the time. Based on this purely anecdotal incident and extrapolating from
it, I would be suspicious that the theophylline may be continuing or
compounding the reflux problem. If I'm all washed up, someone else feel
free to straighten me out. ;-)
-Lisa
