I don't want to be a bad "list daughter" and be off topic, but after
watching the mini-video on the Today show site last night about elective
c-sections it made me want to throw up! This Dr.'s reasoning is that she did
want to have incontinence later in life. (Golly, you can have incontinence
without having a vaginal birth) There was no mention of the risks involved
to the mother, the mother's health later, the impact on fertility, future
pregnancies, the baby or the breastfeeding relationship.

Birth and breastfeeding are completely undervalued and inherently female. I
truly believe that when we value one we will value the other.

Please join me in writing a quick note to the show in protest.
