Hi, all!  My dh is an attorney in the U.S. Navy, which makes him a JAG (Judge
Advocate General), like the TV show.  (He says it's"loosely" based on his
career!)  He is currently the Commanding Officer of the Naval Legal Service
Office, Mid-Atlantic.  He has been in the Navy 20 years and has given
countless numbers of both active duty members (male and female) and/or their
spouses, the scoop on breastfeeding and the family bed.  He has no problem
asking women or men if they plan for their children to be breastfed and has
been known to take breastfeeding calls when I wasn't home.  I know he was
responsible for enabling at least one of his active duty employees to pump
and breastfeed successfully and she honored both of us several years ago in
LLL's New Beginnings.  He has also been my co-speaker at area LLL
conferences.  Currently, the two of us are helping his new Executive Officer
whose week old, fourth baby has Down Syndrome.  I guess you could say we're
breastfeeding partners!!  Our oldest heads off to college in 4 weeks, a year
early, and wants to become an activist (I wonder where she gets it from).
