One phrase I have found helpful in work with HCPs, grandmas and
experienced moms is:
"Breastfeeding doesn't change.  However, our understanding of how it
works and how to help when it's not working well does change as we
learn more about it."  This assures teh listener that we are not
saying what they may have learned in the past was necessarily wrong
then.  We are acknowledging that they may have learned differently
before, this is just more recent understanding.
