I received a sample of this bottle and had my 9-mo-old try it out. He typically receives a bottle of my milk each day when I'm at work, but has considerable difficulty with flow rate and can only handle a couple of different bottle brands with their slowest-flow nipples. We had the 5oz bottle with the slow nipple.

We tried water a few times at first, not wanting to waste my milk, offering it like we would a sippy cup in a sitting position, and the flow rate seemed exceptionally fast -- he glugged down about 4-5 swallows and then came off gasping and refusing more. I offered him some milk in it just once when he was very tired and was acting interested in drinking in a comfy cradled position, but he immediately started coughing with it and tossed it on the floor, so we tossed it in the trash. I have no idea how this could be considered "slow flow".

It also was pretty difficult to clean the inside top of the bottle because of the way it had such a wide neck with a flat area at the level where the nipple screwed on, and the retail price on these is quite expensive. I was not impressed at all, and will stick with our cheap slow nipples that interchangeably fit with pump-compatible bottles.
