This is in reply to the question about whether anyone has experience freezing
breast milk in A___ brand plastic bottles.

I don't have experience with this particular brand. Fifteen years ago, when I
was hand-expressing milk, I used a hard plastic bottle with a cap that fit
over the nipple in a "ready to go" position. There were two different brands.
I also tried softer plastic bottles, but they seemed harder to wash. For
day-to-day storage, I just stuck the bottles in the refrigerator. For storage
over several days, I labeled the bottles and stuck them in the freezer.

My assumption is that any bottle that can stand up to boiling (or dishwasher)
would be fine. I froze the nipple, cap, everything. At the hospital where I
work, we used little plastic bottles to freeze mom's milk before we bought
the special bags for collecting and storing milk. Bottles seemed to work
fine. The milk could be thawed and warmed in hot water.

For my personal use, I liked the idea of no transfers of milk to different
containers. Milk could be expressed directly into the bottle, the nipple
screwed on, capped, stored, warmed in hot water, and fed. Neighbors (child
care provider), husband/dad and kid liked this fine.
