Hello Katie,

I just wanted to mention a website in case you are looking to network 
with other moms who are nursing (or have nursed) their autistic kids.  
The forums at mothering.com (a natural family living website) have a 
special needs parenting part of their board and I have seen many moms 
mention in their signatures that their children are autistic.  I am 
guessing most moms there have breastfed or at least have tried as hard 
as they can! 

I think it's just wonderful that you have had such a close bond with him 
and I do not doubt that breast milk (plus the close, regular contact!) 
has been beneficial!  I too would love to see more research done, there 
is just so much about mother's milk that is not known.
