I live in a very diversly populated area with many spanish speakers. I
too speak spanish pretty well. One day I saw a license plate that said
"DA TITA".  "DA" means give and I was pretty sure that "TITA" meant
breast. I checked by email with LACTNETer Jeanette Panchula from Puerto
Rico. She responded as follows:
> The "correct " way to say it is "DA TETA" - though of course the word "teta" is not usually used in public - the equivalent of "boob" in
English - except a little more coarse.
>I guess the "powers that check for coarse language" need to be bi- and
tri-lingual these days! Yes, they certainly were pushing "boobie
-feeding!"
