When this condition is related to vaginal birth, I would love to know how
many of these moms had long exposures to epidurals and pitocin. I'd bet my
'bottom dollar' that un-medicated vaginal births have very few long term
incontinence problems.
I once spoke to an MD who claimed that c/s was the best way to avoid this
problem. He is a surgeon who does the repair work on prolapsed bladders, he
said, "Annie, it's a proven fact, our hospital did a huge study, c/s moms have
less incontinence" my reply was, "Did they separate medicated from
unmedicated?" He said "No" I said, "then the study was flawed." Yeah, we don't talk
much anymore!
Comments anyone?
