> I would like to know what the abbreviation
DHEA means.<

Linda, DHEA stands for dehydroepiandrosterone. It is a hormone found in
the bloodstream and is produced by the adrenal glands. It is to have
anti-aging properties. DHEA is produced abundantly during youth, with
production peaking around 25yrs and then decreases in production
thereafter. At 80yrs. (hope I make it) it is thought that people have only
10-20% of what they had at 20yrs. Research has shown that DHEA has many
functions in the body pertaining to health and longevity. My drs. put me
on it after my brain surgery and the diagnosis of my fibromyalgia. Good
stuff if your body needs it.
