Good for you!! When my son was born he was shipped to another hospital to be
in the NICU for group B strep. On day 3, he was allowed to bf. We could
visit the NICU anytime we wanted except for one hour during which the nurses
were in report. Being in the strict NICU environment, Tanner (my little
angel) was placed on a feeding schedule. Someone got him on a schedule that
put one of his feedings during report, so we were told the nurses would
supplement him for this feeding. I was absolutely furious!!!!!! I was
adamant that my wife would bf him for this feeding or they would change his
schedule or I would talk with the CEO myself. After much heated discussion,
they gave in and Tanner never got another supplement!!
