A Malaysian women's minister has said that a rising trend of unwed mothers
taking hormone pills to encourage lactation to breastfeed their adopted
children was worrying, reports said Wednesday. 

Women's Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil was quoted as saying that the
increasing number of unmarried mothers who took hormone supplements in order
to breastfeed their adopted children could signal a woman's independence
from the need to wed and bear biological children.
