Has anyone ever heard of mixing rye flour and honey to form a dough to reduce
mastitis? You put the dough on the breast and put some wax paper or Saran
Wrap over it so it won't stick to your clothes. A mom (Russian) called with
this information. I had never heard of this before. She said it worked well.
She felt sad for weaning her 16 month old but many people were pressuring
her. We discussed this too.
