As I was perusing a pharmacy newsletter I saw an item that I thought
might interest y'all.  Fenugreek supplements are now being promoted
to lower blood sugar in patients with diabes.  A fenugreek product
called Limitrol-DM contains 40grams of fiber (ie. fenugreek seeds) and
comes in capsules, a pudding or chewable wafer.  For lowering blood
sugars patients are instructed to take it twice a day about an hour
before meals.  It costs about $25-$50 per month.
