I've noticed that the help of toddler sibblings in teaching a newborn to open
wide (in casr of latch difficulties) and stick their tongue out is very usefull.
The toddler loves it, it eases jalousy that might occur when the newborn gets
lots of attention if BF is not going well and it seems (to me) that babies mimic
children even better than they do adults.
Mother may notice less tension in het toddler and relax more, which ofcourse has
its own possitive effect on latching baby on to the breast.
