I had a client some years ago whose daughter had supply-induced reflux, feeds had been never ending because when the baby cried after a feed mom would offer the breast again. I suggested she not try to burp her and keep her upright awhile, after feeding as has been noted here. The baby was able to keep most of her much shorter feeds down so she was a great deal more comfortable.
