Hi Norma,

I have only one grandson (another grandchild expected in April!!). I stayed
with my daughter for the last part of labor and through the delivery. I was
insistent that the baby go to the breast soon after birth. They wanted him in
the warming unit because his temp was down and I informed them that S2S
would bring it up much quicker and it did. I don't know how much help I was
for bfdg other than making sure she was comfortable. She grew up with bfdg
and seemed totally at ease with responding to Drew's cues to the point that
he was over BW at 4dys. I didn't stay with her 24/7 as I live 15 mins away but
I was there on and off for most of the first week and really only assisted with
some engorgement issues on day 2. She did great!!
