Just a thought for Marie who is recovering from massive sepsis...I may be
really off base with this, so please don't get worried, but you asked for
ideas.  Some of the symptoms you described are similar to ones I have
experienced and I have Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome.  I get
throat infections a lot and a really bad strep infection is when my symptoms
started five years ago.  There are books and pamphlets out with lists of
symptoms, which are many and varied.  Epstein-Barr virus (of Mononucleosis
fame) is often associated and I do have that.  The name is something of a
misnomer, it is like no fatique I had ever experienced.  At any rate, it's
just a thought and I prefer to think that probably recovery from sepsis such
as yours is just a long process.
