Hi, Crystal: I met with our night staff Monday and during the course of
the meeting one of the nurses asked if she could xerox a button that I have
in my office pinned to a bulletin board that says "Breastfeeding Mothers
ROCK". One of the other nurses said she has a button maker at home and
offered to make up a button. Well, one thing led to another and we ended
up getting the dept. director to agree to reimburse her for supplies. So,
now she is making up buttons for each of the staff that will have the
saying as well as the hospital logo on it. The original has the name of a
local homebirth service on it. We plan on distributing them to staff
during WBW. Hopefully, this will build enthusiasm amongst the staff.

What ideas are those of you who are hospital-based coming up with? I'll be
meeting with our director of PR to see what the hospital can do to promote
the week thruout the hospital, but am looking for some clever ideas.
