As a neonatologist who appreciates the benefits of BM, and the relative risks
of artificial milks vs IV D10W, I recommend IVs every time.  I know a lot
more about the complications of IV fluids (minimal) than I do about the long
term implications of ABM.  I would want MY child to get the IV.  Colostrum
mixed with D10W po seems like a good compromise, and is use in many
hospitals.  It is not associated with the severe highs and lows of blood
sugar, unless you force feed 90 mls of it!
