Greetings!
  I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what galactogogue type substance
there is in banana tree blossoms and peels/petals? I met with a woman
yesterday who is of Thai heritage and she was agreeable to me sharing this
info to find any evidence based research on the merits of this substance.
She obtained it at a local Asian store, (no banana trees in Minnesota!) She
takes the entire blossom, removes a few peels or petals, and simmers them
into a soup and has a bowl twice daily. She informed me it was quite
commonly used in Thailand and she feels it really does increase supply.
Could anyone enlighten me? Thank you!
