That is not what the AAP recommendation means.  It does not mean that
the mother should wean if she is put on those medications.  That would
have put those drugs in the "contraindicated" category.  What that means
is the risk:benefit needs to be carefully thought out.  I think the
concern is real, but that the AAP is too cautious.

There are several drugs which are compatible with breastfeeding for the
treatment of depression.  Two are sertraline (Zoloft) and paroxetine
(Paxil).
