"I noticed here in Brooklyn, as Summer/Early Fall turns to Fall outright,
that I have also had a huge spate of calls from moms dealing with plugged
ducts or mastitis."

Our counsellors learn that mastitis can be more common as Autumn turns to
winter (May to June here) because mothers wear more clothes. Hence when
they feed, their jumpers (sweaters, pullovers) are bunched up under their
arms and can cause blocked ducts. Could this be the problem in the other
hemisphere too?
