I agree, TV appearances provide excellent publicity for our cause.
Last year I celebrated WBW in Trinidad and Tobago, which is where I am from originally. I was invited to appear on TV with the island's only LC, Marilyn Stollmeyer, (who is lovely !) on Trinidad's version of the Oprah show.
We presented breastfeeding as the NORM and ABM as well, "junk food". To soften the blow, my analogy was....... "ABM is the same food every day , no variety, and at the same time nutritionally ....boring, not to mention incomplete."
After that appearance, I was approached by several mums who were willing to commit themselves to exclusive breastfeeding!!! That of course, for me , made the trip incredibly worthwhile and indeed truly memorable.

Just remember as an IBCLC you are fully qualified to present on this matter. Congrats and as they say in show biz....break a leg!!!
Be well,
