Hi. I'm your resident veterinarian lurker, delurking in response to Judy's
posting that "The Weston Price study on cats and their traditional raw
meat diet versus cooked showed infertility in cats fairly quickly."

A medline search for this study was not fruitful; nor was a search of the
Veterinary Information Network's journal database. I'm not familiar with
any such study. I'd love to get a pointer to it so I can read it.

FWIW, cats in general are easy breeders. I've only seen a couple of cats
who were on any food other than some commercially manufactured cat food,
and I've never had any fertility problems in cats in my practice. In fact,
our lecturer didn't even talk about them in class - she said if we wanted
to know more we could read about it, but cats really don't have a problem
making more cats :).
