Kathy Dettweiler on your post re: "Streets of Laredo" mini-series, I am
disappointed to learn that infant feeding (and nurturing) were not well
represented in that show.  We can't let McMurtry off the hook because I know
he wrote the screenplay and was executive producer.  Seems awfully
unrealistic for a 10 month old to be sent on a train trip with an older
sibling in those days.  What kind of appropriate and safe food /liquid
nourishment could possibly be available for a baby that age under those
circumstances?
