Andrea,
You asked for any thoughts, so here are mine.
I would want to look at her pumping technique. Have you watched a pumping
session.
Assess the fit, the suction she uses, etc. Is she applying any products to
her nipples? If so I would discontinue that. What is she washing her pump
parts in? What pads does she wear? Bra? I would not be thinking yeast at
this point, but possibly bacterial infection of the nipple. Possibly
allergic to the plastic? Not sure but the above thoughts would be the
direction I would take at this point.
Let us know resolution of this problem, if you can.
