Dear Donna,
If you follow the milk storage guidelines in the "Breastfeeding Answer
Book" on page 212 it might help.
Mature Milk
>at 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees C) - 24 hours
>at 66-72 degrees Fahrenheit (19-22 degrees C) -10 hours
>at 79 degrees Fahrenheit (25 degrees C) -4-6 hours

In a refrigerator
Mature Milk
>at 32 to 39 degrees Fahrenheit (0-4 degrees C) - 8 days

Considering all of this data your mom should not have anything to worry
about (my opinion). However, until we have further data, your mom should
use her best judgement. I remember that recently someone on Lactnet that
someone is doing testing in this area. I think her report was supposed to
be ready sometime in April?
