Hi

Well, I never even thought I would have children.  I was very
career oriented and coming from a split family thought
marriage was for the birds.....  When I did get married and
eventually pregnant I was sure I would bottlefeed.  I had
never known anyone to breastfeed.  But since I was pregnant I
started getting much more into the MCH literature and all of
it was so positive.  Plus my Lamaze teacher was so
pro-breastfeeding and my OBs too.  So I said I'd try it for 6
weeks.  That turned to 3 months, to 6 months, etc... It just
seemed so right.  Now I could not imagine mothering without
nursing.....
