The new AAP guidelines specifically say "NEWBORNS should be nursed
approximately 8 to 12 times every 24 hours until satiety, usually 10 to 15
minutes on each breast."

They don't say you need to continue nursing this often/long until the baby
is 12 months old.  Not that that would be a bad idea . . . . but that isn't
what the guidelines say.

I have sent my email to NOW.  Wish there was something more I could do.
