Subj: diminishing milk with pumping

I try to persuade them to get a rental pump instead. The alternative is to do
the very frequent stimulation (both nursing and pump) that one would suggest
for a poor supply for a newborn. It is especially important that baby be
nursing during the night. (Telling a working mom that she needs to start
waking baby during the night gets really strong responses from parents!)

This will not increase her milk supply, it may do the opposite.
