Hi All,

I mostly lurk here but wanted to chime in about the Mondor's. When I was about half way through my last pregnancy I noticed a thick line on the outer area of my breast. I was due for a visit with the midwife. She had no idea what it was and she called in one of the Ob's. The Ob had a smile on her face " I know what that is! I have never seen it before but a professor had talked about it."
She went to her office and returned with a book and showed us Mondor's disease. She assured me that it was not really a disease but for precautionary reasons sent me to a breast specialist - I noticed at the office that she specialized in breast cancer.
The funny thing is I was on Lovenox - a blood thinner during this last pregnancy. It is like a varicose vein. It went away when Finn was born. I went for a follow up with that breast doctor.
My only regret is not taking a photo of it.
