 Had a mom years ago, known bulemic, by the time her baby boy was 8 mo old he was fine and good for age, wt, ht.  She weighed about 70 lbs.  I told her she had to stop breastfeeding, something I never had done.  Told her her baby needed a mom to live until he grew up.  Grandmom agreed with me and we sort of got the problem as solved as we could.  She went on to have another baby and did better with her own eating as well as breastfeeding again.
