There are no contraindications to using Lansinoh when yeast is present.
In fact I've corresponded with several LCs who say they recommend
Lansinoh in conjunction with antifungal treatment such as nystatin on
nipples because it offers pain relief and faster healing.  The thought is
that as Lansinoh has been proven to travel down to the stratum
granulosum, perhaps it acts as a delivery system for the anti fungal.
i.e. apply antifungal first, wait a few minutes then apply Lansinoh over
it.

It is not at all unnusual for a woman to use Lansinoh for cracked nipples
when yeast is the offender.  It will not do any harm, however, without
the use of an antifungal it is unlikely to heal.

Usually, sore, painful nipples when nursing an older baby is from
something other than "early days" trauma.  Lansinoh won't hurt, and will
probably help, - it will help with healing and pain relief for mom if
skin on nipple is broken - especially when combined with an anti fungal
when thrush is suspected.
