“You can just rinse the milk out of the tubing and then hook them back
up to the PIS and run it for a while without the bottles/flanges to dry
the inside of the tubing.”

 

I have always advised mums to allow the tubing to dry COMPLETELY before
using the pump again, lest the water droplets get sucked into the motor
unit and fry it and void the warranty. Has this ever happened to any of
you? Given the costs of the pumps I have never been tempted to try it
myself! 

But I like the swinging it round technique too!
