I suppose the concern with this baby was

1) was the baby REALLY exclusively breastfed or maybe eating/drinking something else that was making her so fat. We have a huge obesity awareness going on now so that pedi was probably trying to be proactive. At the same time, I'm certain he wanted to rule out anything organic

2) the fact is that this baby is so fat that is I would think crawling and walking will be more challenging.

3) I think Pat was on to something when she discussed the oversupply and how the baby leveled off with complimentary foods

4) Also getting to what Pat said about better nutrition. This mother is from another country. What do you think about change in diet to SAD and changing content/supply of breast milk?

Thank you all. I am always fascinated and interested in learning from you.
