Just an answer to the question of what to do with stored breastmilk in the
case of an infant death.
     If you will contact Lois Arnold, the executive director of the Human
Milk Banking Association of NOrth America, she will probably be able to get
you  (or the mother) in touch with someone doing research on human milk.  The
guidelines for collection, then, will not be so strict as those for banked
milk, and I know of at least one case when this worked out well.
