I am considering applying for funding to examine the relationship between neatness fetishes and Lactnet addiction.  My null-hypothesis is that Lactoholics show lower incidence of neatness fetishes than a control population of women whose households own PCs.  A secondary hypothesis is that lurkers fall somewhere in between.
As soon as I find my phone I am going to call the Research Council and ask for a grant application.
