Many thanks to all the RDs and mad-as-hell lawyer and MDs for their
comments about apple juice.

Today one of my clients (nervous first-time mother who a) believes
everything MD says, but then b) checks with me for "your opinion" called to
ask if it was true that white grape juice was "just the ticket" for her
3-month old breastfeeding baby.

Ye gods and little fishes!

Was I able to fill her in!  Mentioned several things, including the sending
to jail of the baby food executives when they colored the water and called
it apple juice.  Also mentioned what little food value juice is and
suggested that she could help her baby a lot more with breastfeeding
exclusively and AVOIDING the use of juice.

She was impressed when I said I had recently got this information from an
