Okay so this is going to sound so naive however I am going to ask the 
questions anyways for fear of being run out of town! Our scales are so 
expensive and supposedly are the best for accuracy, etc. However, I spent 
many years working with animals (my ranch and professionally) and we used 
to use very good animal digital scales to see how much a lamb or piglet had 
taken quite often. They lose so much when givena bottle as it is so un-
natural for them for the first couple feeds at least (hmmm kind of like the 
babies i work with now), it can be very important. So, the question is, 
these nice scales are in the 50-200 dollar range, do we have any proof that 
these are less efficient? they are as reliable for small animals in our 
babies range, so why not??? anyone tried this, or do this that wants to 
admit it? thought i would ask...
