There is a very good article in JHL (1997 ; 13 : 227-30) : Methadone levels
in breast-milk. Studies on women taking 10 to 80 mg of methadone per day
shown a methadone level in breast milk ranged from 0,05 to 0,57 mg/l, with a
consumption by the infant ranged form 0,01 ` 0,03 mg/day.  This level is
very low, and don't lower the dose required for the treatment of a
withdrawal in the infant.
