In light of the recent discussions on breastfeeding in the hospital
setting, I thought people might be interested in this article. It's from
medscape. You may need to sign up for a free subscription in order to
access it. It was originally published in a critical care journal and
cautions providers not to be seduced by technology. I think it has many
parallels to the situations we encounter with breastfeeding. As we all
know, when you suggest letting nature's way play out without interruptions
in a hospital setting, people look at you like you're from Mars!!!
