One of the most impressive aspects of La Leche League is their commitment to
being an absolutely single issue group.  There are a lot of different
opinions in LLL about controversial topics but only one opinion about
devotion to helping breastfeeding moms.

I have noticed that this discussion about GBS has moved towards hyperbole and
even to a teeny bit of ad hominem rejoinder.  As I mentioned a few days ago,
there is only one official way to treat this condition and the rest of the
issue is speculation and opinion with good "weight" on each and every side.

I love the idea of disseminating new findings about BF and OT, but
baby-related, studies.  I think that debating these somewhat OT issues leads
to a slight diminution in the fun of the group.
