My first thought was that it had something to do with her social
situation/partner's lack of support. But we were standing in the hallway
just off the waiting room in a very public area, and all the red flags
were up in my mind, so that I would make no attempt to invade her privacy
in any way. I have to remind myself frequently that I can't personally
"save" every situation.
